In my case the original engine was a A14 -1400 cc someone who swapped the engine did not changed the carby so i am running an A12 Motor with Carburetor suitable for A14.

that is why i am using A14 standard jets for this carb (i got DDs advices ) because air bleeds and venture sizes are not compatible with smaller jets (Note : The engine performance is very good now)

and 18+ is very good fuel consumption for your car sumit

Hi DD,

What is the reason for it why you saying that "Do not use Kit Jets" ? In sri lanka repair kits included jets also (made by japan)

Actually we cannot find the Original Jets the reason is earlier owners of the vehicle removed the original jets (sometimes we can find the original jets with whole carburetors which are selling for parts)

Sumith ,

I couldn't find any place for separate original Jets in sri lanka sometimes you can find same model carb with original jets @ Panchikawatte

Hi sumith,

I also had the same problem i solved this by changing Carburetor main jets to standard sizes. And i change spark plugs to NGK BP5ES. In Sri Lanka you can buy jets with carburetor repair kits.

I think you better read these topics also
