I know it's not a 1200 question...

But do the front guards, grill, bonnet etc from a 1600 (510) fit a 1300 pickup (521)???

From eyeballing them in pics it looks as though they share the same front ends. Can anyone help me out with this theory please?

The reason i am searching for a full chasis is for the freedom of modifications that it allows over a 1200 ute chasis.
The direction i wish to head with my next project will require a full chasis (therefore ruling out the 1200).
I am tossing up between a 521 or a 320 truck. I have been looking for quite some time for a suitable truck to begin with, but they are either only good for parts, or on the other side of the country!

Which brings me to another question:
Does anyone have any first hand experience with the interior size of a 320 v's a 521?
I am assuming the interior would be a far tighter fit in the 320...

The datsun L320 ute/pickup- what is the difference (if any) on the chasis between the pickup version with the seperate rear bed, and the ute version where there is no seperation between the cab and bed (like the 1200). I know the pickup version runs a full chasis, is this the case with the ute?

I gave up for a while and spent some more $$$ on my wrx (shit carbon fibre is expensive!)

I need to find a ute so i can stop spending money on my daily.

I was very close to driving down to Victoria and picking that ute up, but with a close to 12 hr trip one way common sense got the better of me.

This morning i was driving home through Windsor in my Father in-laws ute with trailor full of soil and a red 520 drove past me in the opposite direction! The thing looked a little worse for wear and was carting a load of hay in the bed.
We were divided by a centre island and there was no way to turn around and give chase with the load i was carrying. I was so pissed, as this is the only one i have ever seen on our roads, and i would have offered to buy it from the owner
