that 1200 coupe is a bloke on Ausrotary.com.

the best sleepers are obscure cars, like mazda 323 vans with 13B turbos in them, 1200 utes with CA18s, Crowns with 2JZs, EA falcons with turbo'd 504ci big blocks - yatta yatta yatta.

if you can keep people in the preformance scene guessing, THEN it's a sleeper.

i'm really not interested in parting it all out,
i have a bloke coming over tonite who is prolly just chasing the blocks so if it's left over after he's picked away everything else then it's yours.

it's be around the $50 mark i'd say - considering the springs alone are worth 3x that (yes, i know you can use holden 6 ones too...).

to buy the whole lot including my flash turbo manifold for $400 is a pretty good deal i reckon.

hey guys.

this all has to go as i'm moving house. no reasonable offer refused.

2x A12 blocks for sale, one early, one late.

2x A12 120Y heads, one in decent S/H condition, the other is a brand spanker fresh re-co with L series valve stem seals and TOMEI double valve springs.

A14 4spd gbox

cupla alternators, i think a starter, sumps and pickups, pushrods, rockers etc.

1 pair Volvo 4 spot calipers and 1 pair 2 spot calipers.

GPz1100R individual throttlebodies with FJ20 / Z18 style 220cc injectors and rail.

There is also an E15 elec dizzy and E15 water sensors.

A volvo - bosch elec hi pressure fuel pump, a pierburg low pressure fuel pump. SOLD

Oh, and a new Daikin clutch and pressure plate.

they are ALL good parts and they could all be assembled for 2 running A12s, everything is there incl the water pumps and oil pumps.

i also have a TF035HM turbo (subaru forester) - perfect size for an A series. I'm sure there are more goodies lying around that I am happy to chuck in for a whole lotta nothing.

i'll take $200 ca$h for the lot, an extra $150 for the turbo and an extra $50 for the GPz throttlebodies.

PM me here, as "Pro" on ozdat, PM for email or phone 0423 972 359 for a looksie anytime.

crossbreeding is fun.

what makes the V6 such an unattractive option? wouldn't a VT supercharged V6 go even better?

and so what if you can;t go around corners in it? is that the point of that build? if so, why did you start with a ute? since when did utes become the new 2 door sports saloon?

so many questions, even more opinions, even less real answers.

J pipe is a posibility i spose...

Me and Neil have been talking about making something up to suit a 1000. We both have flanges coming and Neil has a welder. We could tack a manifold up to suit then get it welded/reproduced. Just buy a few bits of steam pipe... I can see it being cheaper that way too!

.

dude - just bring em round to me - i'll knock them up for you to whatever size you want.

i have got a place that sells steam bends cheap-cheap too.

CA18ET ring thicknesses
- 1.5mm
- 1.5mm
- 4.0mm

CA18DET ring thicknesses
- 1.5mm
- 1.5mm
- 2.8mm

so CA18DET bearings and shells fit, but anyone out there in the same situation will have to source genuine CA18ET rings or swap in a set of CA18DET pistons at the same time.
