Clutch hole for a five speed? Is it different from the four speed?

Which hole are you refering to? Is it the one in the firewall for the clutch master cylinder? I guess that a brief examination both inside the engine bay & under the dash would answer that one.

on the later ones where the manual and auto share a chassis...
you may have to open the hole, but it's stamped where the clutch MC would go.

earlier ones, where there is a larger tunnel for the AT, presumably it's not stamped...

On the US AT models the hole for the clutch master is there but is covered up with a sheet metal cover that is spot welded in place. Takes a cold chisel, hammer, and some patience to uncover. The mounting studs need to be sourced as they are missing.

I used bolts to hold in my clutch master but it takes either 2 people or really long arms to install the clutch master...

what year are you trying to convert, cause the 79 , Datsun I converted over like that had the plate just like gary explained ,but did not have the extra bracket under the dash for the clutch pedal. That I had to fabricate myself.

If you are in the oregon area I have all the parts for the conversion from plumming to fly wheel to trans and trans mount and pedal box clutch master for 74-78 b210. maybe works with 79/80 also.
