Hey Bullit
I LIKE THAT. The tyre size calculator should solve a lot of problems both quickly & easily.
Thanks for that & it's now in my favorites list
Chris

It possibly should be put onto the links page of this site.

I originally saw it posted on Nzhondas.com about 18 months ago and everytime I need to refer to it I have to search the archives. Probably would be easier if I just added it to my favourites but not everyone can do that if they havnt seen it before

Hey I just bought a set of 14" mags with 50% tyres but the tyres are way big so I'm getting different ones...
I had a look at the tyre calculator and if I get a set of 185 x 65 x R14 tyres with 596.1mm diametre is this still OK? my original wheels size is 155 x 80 x R13 (578mm diam) if I get this my speedo will read 3.1% slower
If I get 60 series tyres they look so small... I really prefer the 65 series as it is also easier to find.
Please advise if I wont have too much problem with this size
thanks

i had this problem when bying my tyres, but you will have to get 60series, cause 65s are too big a profile, i have slight rubbing with my 60s at fulll lock............. the 60 prfile is pretty good not to low or to high

Hey if you have that combination the wheels diametre should be smaller than the orginal wheels specs which for sunny sedan is 155/80/13 which has 578mm diametre
and your one now is 185/60/14 which has 576mm diametre??? is it because its wide not the diametre?
