Hey Guy's

does anyone know where i can get the screw in steering column bushing?I have looked at all my usual places and they are either sold out or not available anymore.I really need to locate one or maybe i can use the rubber bushing sold on ebay for the non collapsible column but in the add it says not suitable for the collapsible type column. What are my options?

This is the one i need. The second one is an option(maybe)

I was going to suggest JDM Planet but that's where you got the picture from.
I did buy a couple of heater control valves from them
also did you try BProjects ?

i found one on this website but have no idea how trustworthy they are

Having a look at the bushing in the Tech Wiki it seems pretty simple. If you have an old one you can make up a new bushing or any machine shop or friend that is handy with a lathe could make something up if you gave them some dimensions.
If you are desperate, it looks like you could possibly press in a plain bushing out of urethane or the like? It will probably be difficult to remove later, but it might get you going.

Looks like you wrote your message as I was writing this!! haha!

Hey Elrich,

i still have the old cup that the bushing sits in,ill take that to my local engineering place and get them to turn one up,i also bought a solid rod off nylon to get them to turn the bushing up to.Ill buy some measuring calipers to measure the shaft.I have a voucher for autobarn from chrissie and i couldnt figure out what to buy so ill get them to measure the shaft.
