Seems dear mate, But depends on the tyres are they low profile say 195/50/15 ? Need more info really like width of tyres and what brakes and struts etc on front ?Is the ute lowered ?. Probably need to roll the lip up on the guards and massage the foot well. So yes some work will probably be needed

Also depends on what brakes etc. your running...
You might need spacer's too.

On standard struts you will require quite large spacers for the front and fairly low profile tyres and it will need to stay at standard height. Even then you might find they are a tight fit and might grab the guard a bit if you hit any speed humps too quick or take corners quick.

So yes on standard struts at standard height it can be done but only just.

If it is lowered at all you will need to roll them 4 sure!!!

As i said though this is all assuming you have standard struts and low profile tyres.

$450 is not too bad. If they are in perfect condition then they are worth that......just. You can pick up sets in fairly good condition with a few marks for around 150-200 then get them cleaned up and powder coated for around 200-300 and you will have a perfect set.

Cheers
Trav

as said, wont fit on standard struts without spacers
will fit on stanza and other similar struts no problem with 195 50s ad will only need to cut the front bottom corner out of the front guards for clearance when turning

i was running them on my car for a while with spacers on the back to get them to sorta match the fronts and the car was pretty low and didnt have to roll my guards

Wow i had to roll all my guards and run spacers on rear as they were scrubbing the inner guard and on all wheel arches the sharp lip all around the guard was tearing into the tyre slightly so rolled it right up 195/50/15. Got sunny struts on front. Have we scared you off yet, Its easy really.

You need to say something like this

"If I see another 1200 with trx rims I'm going to smack you across the face!"
