What a splendid day it was for racing.

We were 4 Utes that dominated the class, 2 of them with Toyota 4age 16V motors and Alfa LSD's, the one with a worked A14 and Alfa LSD and then my Ute with the worked A14 with open Borg Warner diff.

I'm finally at the point were my suspension is good and only refinement is needed. I ran 13"x7" Carrera slicks in front and 14" Bridgestone Semi's at the back to gain that extra 2km/h in first gear.

To cut a long story short, we raped the 16V guys.
The best times for the 16V was 1m09s70 and 1m12s5
And the 8V 1m09s70 and 1m10s00

Normally we have to battle to keep up with there amount of revs and horsepower, this time they had to monitor our times constantly.

Movie of the Ute in Action http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQet17KmB1k , it is time for new valves springs to gain more rpm.

Here is a pic of the Ute in action:

sparky you do not understand, if you were there we would have killed the 16v. The best meet in my opinion this year.

There wasn't one run that we came out with not a huge smile on our face or laughing our ass off, especially with the little rabbits/golfs, the one golf we drove we used up to 15mm above the rim. After the day, the whole side wall was smooth, not one letter visible.

Sparky sorry, Kobus and I won the class in his blue ute that is featured in our Tech Wiki, http://datsun1200.com/modules/mediawi ... dex.php?title=Nissan_B140 - under Features of 1400LDV

This thing has a crap load of grunt at the lower end of the revs, which helps a lot getting out of the corners as quickly as possible.
