i thought id start a new thread instead of hijacking 1200rc and unfam's build threads

but since we were on the topic of hh i dug up a fairly recent vid
of the reverse fig 8 track

i was experimenting with camera position so this view isnt very exciting
but it does give a good view of the many changes in direction and undulation
of the great little track

feel free to post your vids in here guys when you have them.
cant wait to see them

What camera set up do you use, like a go pro mounted on roof?

Reverese looks ok, I think I like the other way better, coming up the hill at the end would bore me

Yeah the way weran was heaps tighter look like it was good Ange, we only got like 1 lap per hour so you couldn't really get to know the track enough to push it! I stayed in second gear and my skyline apart from one straight which I got half way through 3rd at bout fastest point of 140ish, it's a hard track to setup the car for to, will have 2 cars running next time I hope, and will for sure setup a camera

If it's not my car you will be fine lol.

Its not as harsh as full track day- like taking an extereme line on your fave twisty road. I used only 2nd and 3rd too could almost shift to 1st in 1 corner

1st gear ?

yeah stu its not hard on your car at all (if you stay on the black stuff )
ive only ever towed the ute to winton, its just that bit too far away. oh and wakefield for the nats.

although i need to get myself a trailer, the luck has to run out one day and i'll be stranded!

its not a fast track, 3rd gear tops for me even with 4.8 diff (and 9000rpm )
although it feels fast enough because its so tight & twisty, good fun!

cool vids ange, why wouldn't you run a tarp on the tray or something to aid aerodynamics, tailgate being shut has to be a hinderence
