Just wondering if you guys know about the nissan engine
we guys never got here in australia?

Its a Nissan NA20S or NA20P and came in the d21, y31
and atlas to name a few. Taxis used them and I myself
am after 2 cylinder heads complete if possible.

They are kidney shaped chambers and the rest like
a Z20 head but 4 sparkplugs and better higher ports.

Why not ask a local engine importer if they will get one for you in their next shipment of 'good used japan engines'?

Three NA20 heads on Yahoo today

There's a complete engine on Yahoo also

Fitted to Y31? There's a chance we have some over here.
Will look for them on the next hunting trip.

Thank you DD
Ive tried Y auctions but those buggers wont send
to Australia and way overpriced when taking into
account the added freight to Okinawa.
Some places are cool but 2 of those where pricey
while the other is just a bare head also avail
from china for 181usd plus freight.
However prefer will all rocker gear as there is
a slight change in valve angles from Z heads.
I will try some Okinawa wreckers soon in the hope
some old taxis ended up in wrecking yars as the
Toyota competitor was more popular everywhere.

SharmCos - Thats the one!!!! where was that one??

At a used parts shop near me.
No rocker cover though.
I've not asked for a price, that shop is one of the priciest in town :p
I'll look at more shops, should be more.
It feels heavy. Do you know how much it weighs?
Shipping limit by Pos Malaysia is 20kg.

Well $200 is kinda pricey for a cylinder head
I reckon I can find one in the $100-150 price range.
There's another shop which should have this head.
Tell you it also has plenty of A15s, A14s, A12s even the Yue Loong versions and even a front dizzy A-series.
And some of the parts were sourced from Australia and New Zealand many years ago

Yes I know Bakat. Haven't met him though.
