Nup fwd micras rebadged as datsuns- I don't see it as a positive- except for new clothing merchandise lol.

This has been bantered around as entry level cars for 10 years off and on

that wouldnt be great, unless they start to make the original 1200. i think they just make new cars, and then name it as a datsun.

yes - been lot of write-ups--mentioned russia &india as cheapie.would like to see them revive the datsun in s/africa.oh yes as long as the damn Americans dont take control of the sales [IMPERIAL group] they control all car and truck sales and keep the prices sky-high. may they all rot.go datsun

they really should make the original datsun 1200 coupe at least like chevrolet did with the camaro, toyota's 86 its cool but doesn't have that classic look

Sadly they will probably turn out to be rebadged Dacia cars like with the 1400 bakkie's replacement, the NP200...

i highly doubt they will re-make the old datsun's, they want a "new modern look" which looks like poo im my opinion

CRIKEY if they reproduce the datsun 1200's...the ass will drop out of the so over priced 1200 now
