Does anyone know how many A series engines were produced?

For example the Renault C series was also an OHV engine
competitor to the Datsun A series ranging from 956cc-1770cc.

It had wet sleeved iron block with non X-flow and also X-flow heads
the x-flow hemi styled heads could fit 45mm inlet valves!

27,277,306 engines were manufactured in 42 years, a record in Europe
Yet many more produced in South America and other countries even till
this day many parts are still cast for them.

I've long wondered this too. Years ago I put "millions" in the encyclopedia
