These are almost ready to sell, as mentioned in the other thread I'm just waiting on the delivery of the horn rings for the back of them

I thought I would put up some pics to get some interest rolling. After an initial batch here I will sell these long term on eBay

The kit mounted on a wheel (as intended for use in a ute)

height comparison vs. the current/cheap ones

So the benefit's are obvious for the ute's, you will be able to drive with straighter arms and it will be much easier to get in and out of the vehicle

But also this would suit people wanting to fit quick release steering wheel kits as you can mount the release between my short boss and the steering wheel. Your steering wheel should then be roughly back in the original position (release kits are approx 25mm long)

Or if you would like to fit a deep dish wheel to a coupe or sedan this kit would be of benefit also as you can mount it further away also.

If you use this kit with a flat wheel mounted in the "low" position, you will need to bend your indicator stalk back to accommodate the new position. This is not difficult to do, just grab and bend.

Price will be $99 delivered, it includes all items shown in the first pic (boss, spacer, horn button, button mounting ring and bolts) The boss has fully functional horn and roll pins for cancelling indicators

there is no picture?

but i am guessing you mean the spacer ring, the answer is no, the reason is because the mounting nut for the steering column and the rear of the horn button need room. For max room in a ute the spacer ring is needed to get the steering wheel as low as possible

p.s. it's worth noting that nothing protrudes out past the rim of the steering wheel if you look at it directly from the side, it is hard to tell in the picture, but hopefully my explanation makes sense

Unfortunately the horn rings are coming from China and they are unlikely to come before Chinese new year so it may be 3 weeks before these are good to go. I do have 2 finished kits (because i had a couple of sample horn rings)

If anyone is super keen to get one now? otherwise they will be up for general sale in 3 weeks

Quick question.
Is the extension on the driver side of the wheel only for the horn button or is it also required to fit the steering column nut? i.e if i was not going to run a horn would i still require the extension piece?

Cheers

Bryan
