ok I've got some video up on youtube.com.
It's not much to look at but the sound is cool.
Datsun 1200's at Fuji SpeedwaySkyline and 350z JGTC, etcIt took me about 6hrs to get to Fuji Speedway. I had to take 2 trains, the Shinkansen, another 2 trains and a bus. It only took 4 hrs to return as I had gotten the hang of things and could transfer trains more efficiently.
Obviously it was sensory overload once I got off the bus at the event. The B110's were running as I arrived. So I ran to try and take some pics and video. After their run, I went to the pits to try and take pictures of these famous cars.
The language barrier was in full force. I met Hirota-san, the driver of the yellow #84 Hirota - Tomei b110. I said "hajimi mashita" and that it was an honor to meet him, I bowed, I flashed my Datsun1200.com t-shirt logo and he gave me his buisness card.

A very nice person. I just wish I could speak more Japanese.
There were lots of people. More Skylines than anything else. This track is located on the base of Mt Fuji. Due to overcast, I couldn't see it.
Here are a few pictures.

Here's a video of the same type of bullet train I took to get there.
