1200Gx ek gana een van die dae n stel ARP koop vir my nuwe motor, so ona kna praat, maar vind asb net eers uit wat presies moet aan die boude of rods verander word dat hulle werk of pas hulle net?

Ek weet ook van dai mod die bolts moet glo laat centre grind word. Ek weet nie ek voel net ek wil nie hoef oe toe te knyp elke keer as n mens hie bo 8500 gan drai nie.

die bolt sit n klein bietjie los teen oor die gewone bout. en hy is bietjie langer. as jy jou caps opsit kan jy mar net die boute styf teen an draai met jou vingers, dalk engine in die ronte draai dat jou caps die boute center en vas maak.

Clive, dit klink bietjie dodgey. Wat behels die storie om hulle te centre grind?
Die ander ding is, julle ouens wat cams verander het, wat het julle met die lifters gedoen. Nuwes gekoop of die oues weer gebruik. Nuwes is R1500. As ek dit kan skip deur iets met hulle te doen om hulle weer te kan gebruik dan sal ek.
Die ouens praat van re-face by die plek wat my cam gaan reprofile. Wat sê julle.

Nounet met mechanic vriend gepraat. Het op 'n tyd A15 met supercharger gehardloop. 1,5 Bar geboost. Hy het die gewone conrod bolts gebruik en sê hy het geen probleme gehad selfs teen 8000Rpm. Nou weet ek nie meer nie.

Hy hardloop nou 13B turbo rotary.

Hendrik op die spesifieke bolts was da nie nodig vir center grind nie. net die cap wat bietjie speel'ing gehad het oor die bolt klein bietjie kleiner is, so jy moet net die cap center. dit werk met my eie oe gesien hoe rev daai engine. Mar ja die gewone bolts het gewerk vir my ook. my lifters moes ek net bietjie an die agter kant grind vir my cam se lift wat hy hul teen n hoek druk.

Maurits, so jy het nie jou lifters vervang nie. Bliksem, ek moet dit van my lys afkry. Ek trek al op R8,800. Vir daai prys kan ek 'n A14 engine met minder as 60 000km en 5 spoed koop, indruk in kar,GX head en SU's en GX exhaust opsit en krag maak.

Het met mense gechat oor rockers repace en hulle se hang mar af van jou engine en hoeveel km hy op het, so die ware op die rockers, as hulle nog mooi is en ni sluitasie het op die shaft en so nie, hoekom nuwes koop ?
