Finally a post outside of "Announcements, bugs and suggestions"!

Which is good to go back to why the whole Datsun thing started for me and should help with motivation for the other things

After many years of thinking original is good, I've took on the simple project (when compared to the engineering marvels of some members) of converting the old datto to a single weber A14.
The first idea is to have it running on a single weber DCOE 40, with the std cam, some head work and a better exhaust ... add a LSD diff and hope to have some sideways fun with the 165/70 12" tires.
The second idea is to replace the weber with fuel injection and megasquirt, and have it all, performance, low rev cruising, low consumption and low pollution.
Well, I started with taking the thing apart and done some surgical head work
