For street & even competition use, these are as good as extractors. They won't rust out, they are more quiet in the engine bay than extractors, they flow well enough for Datsun competition to recomend them for rally use & they are still low enough in cost to be well ahead of new extractors, even taking into account new studs, nuts, custom flange, gasket, & engine pipe.
One of these is my first chioce & I will be running one on both my 1000 & my 1200 coupes. Yes, I already have them, one of which I bought new.
Give it a sandblast & a well applied coat of VHT & it's as good as new.
Ronald, your loss will be someone elses gain.
