I'm just about ready to paint my 1200 ute and can't find any info on what the original schemes were or if anyone has seen a colour that looked particularly good. Thanks

white always seems to suit datto's.
I have seen a blue 1200 ute and that looks quite good. but I still think that white is the go.

Check out the Tech Section, you will find a section that says: What color should I paint my 1200?, at Body and Interior's, this is a pritty nice place to start. , Good Luck.

Hmmm, let's see.....

There's that beautiful "baby poo" brown.
Or perhaps the Kermit green woud suit you better - You'd better include the cost of some good sunnies in the paint price!

Suffice to say, I wouldn't go for an original Datto colour.... Unless it's the white.

i'm thinking about painting my ute in a brittish racing green, with freshly polished chrome bits all round (bumpers etc haha not wheels) what do you reckon about that?

Coops - You can't knock the very fetching Kalihari Tan mate! It is THE Datsun colour. Hang your head in shame.
