my car is in brisbane and is believed to be a brisbane car all it's life. It has the holes in the seat for the headrests but the headrests are gone. I would say someone has thrown them out during it's life.
my 2 door sedan also had headrests and the seats were in that horrible brown colour but the person I bought the car off kept them.
the 2 door sedan had some nissan motor sport parts on it as well which he kept. I really wanted the factory spot lights he pinched off it.
KB10 front seats were built with 'provision' for headrests, but the headrests were only installed if the customer ordered them from the options list.
In standard trim they came with these little plugs in the holes.
They are part No. 86981- A0601.- Plug- Head Restraint. & I bought these new about 18 months ago.
The lack of these plugs does not mean that restraints were fitted as most of the plugs are missing these days & like mine, your car probably never
had restraints fitted.

If your B10 two door sedan had brown seats with head restraints, I would say that they were not the
original seats as no reference to head restraints in any non-coupe model is made in any of my sales brochures,
or in the parts book.
Brown was not an original colour either as the interior came in red, blue, black & white up to Sept 1968,
& the blue was deleted after that, again, according to the parts book.[I guess that they would know]
The illustration below is of the only 'optional' light that was available on non-coupe models & it was called
a 'fog light'. Is this exactly what the lights looked like on your sedan before the previous owner removed
them, or were they later Nissan/ sports accessories?
It is part No. 26150- 18001. Assy. Lamp, Fog with bracket.
Opt all exc Coupe.
