Just thought l'd put this out and see if anyone else has heard of this...

Apparently at one of my old jobs l heard a guy saying that a datsun 1600 IRS rear end will bolt straight up to a 1200 (well ute anyway). You just use the rear crossmember and the whole sub assembly.

NO MODS NEEDED!! (Apparently)

You could make it fit if your really keen
I'm putting 1600 IRS into the back of my 1000 coupe......its not a task to be taken lightly

im guessing that IRS stands for Independant Rear Suspension yould be able to find dome good grip and handeling
