The N13 radiator of choice for CA transplants. It's a 4WD N13 model.

The Regular N13 Radiator

This is an FYI, thanks to a good fellow selling these radiators on Ebay. Maybe a little expensive for my tastes...but very educational and very convenient for us Aussies.

Cheers.

I assume the 4wd one is better because of the location of the inlet and outlet ports? So in the 4wd one the in and out are on the right hand side in your pic above?

very interesting!
Thx for that info mate!

I'm about to embark on a CA project and was unsure about what radiator to use!

So, is the regular aussie-spec n13(18LE?) radiators a wise choice to use for a CA18DET into 1200 conv, without going a full custom aluminium jobby?

If so, does it fit nicely?
I'd imagine some sort of custom bracket would have to be fabricated?

Sorry for the dumb Q, im new to this sort of conversion! haha

Cheers

I run one of these radiators with an A14 turbo. Brackets for the bottom posts of the radiator are needed and the inner guard was heated and a ball pen hammer used to give some clearance. The radiator i have, has plastic ends so the clearance was to prevent rubbing through. and tags made for the top of the radiator was easy. I used a multiuse top hose with wire inset.
