The Pertronix conversion seems to have a good name, & several members have fitted one with good results, & for general street use, they are more than adequate. They are also reasonably priced.
As soon as I can find an outlet, I too will join this group as points are really a thing of the past these days.

The Datrats converted L series distributor [see Datrats link] is just the ticket for serious ignition performance & comes highly recomended, but the conversion will suit your average road engine well.

why post that if it has already been answered? the L18 wont "fit" as an earlier post says you will need the 180b crossmember...
