If you want registration, then I think that you will get a 'forget it' answer from those in the know.

I know someone who fit a 13b into a Datsun Ute. He cut the tunnel out and had one hand made. He runs a 5 speed and RX-7 FC diff under it. A word of advice though, don't think on poping the clucth to try and do a burnout. He tryrd to do it once in front of my house and ended up wheeling it like about 3 of 4 feet in the air.

Well, he bought a RX-7 FC used for $3000. The tunnel and other mods done to the body and chassie cam out like $9000 (a firend did it for him at his shop) and all the sets of tires and apex seals he has used might have him around $20,000 and up.

rotarys are hard to register in most aussie states and i mean real hard engineers hate em because 700kg car + 220hp rotary engine = DRAG MACHINE!!!! but its probly cheaper to put rotary in then ca18 and the rotary is lighter engine but the rotary becomes more expensive when you go to get it engineered

datto_lowrider93 I know your only young champ. Maybe its worth while that you get a bit more experience before you make comments like you have done. Otherwise this site gets lots of bullshit advice thats pointless.

"rotarys are hard to register in most aussie states" No they are not.
"engineers hate em" How is it you say this?
"probly cheaper to put rotary in then ca18" You will find that reguardless of what engine is used. A conversion of the same quality will cost roughly the same. The only real difference will be the cost of purchasing the engine and its rebuild.
"ohh and by the way no way in the world is it guna cost ya 20k maybe 15k" Where does this advice come from? You will be suprised.
