Hey everyone, I'm just wondering what you all think a Stock 1200 Ute is worth in mint (fully restored) condition? I know it's a hard question to answer without seeing/driving the car but just say hypothetically it's like a brand new car. It will be interesting to see what everyone thinks. I've seen some advertised for around $10,000 for really nice ones. Are those guys dreaming or is that a fair price? Cheers, Shane.

the old man has a 1200 ute which he purchased 12 years ago.back then it was worth around $4,500 and i am now gathering parts for it to restore it,new front guards, bonnet etc,so i am hoping that$10,000 is realistic, although i wouldnt sell it after spending so much time and $ on it.they are getting rarer by the month now so the price can only go up,
good luck

theres a guy in wa that bought 2 brand new in 75' or there abouts, he drove one and kept the other in "glad wrap" its done 10ks not 10 thousand just 10, from the dealer to his house and thats it, its still got the heavy duty tradesman test tyres on it, and the plastic paint protectors, this one would be worth a #### load

I knew one that had 35,000ks genuine on it and recently (4 months ago) sold for $6800. It was immaculate and looked like it just rolled off the line. To put it in perspective brand new in SA they are around $17k austalian. Bit pricey me thinks....

I saw a "fully restored completley standard" low km ute advertised in classic cars about 2 years ago for $13,000 AUD. I doubt he got that much for it- there was another original low km ute in the same edition for around $6500.
