Ive seen them in with standard firewall before, but with either no intercooler or hanging out the front(cr*p looking)

Also no such thing as too much power. Its all in the right foot.

I don't understand why you would spend 5 years building a car only to come to the conclusion that it has too much power..........after you fit a bigger turbo. Modern turbos have such wide efficiency ranges you could run low boost on the street and then turn it up for dyno runs, drags etc. A Disco Potato would an excellent option.

But if you want another shell for your driveline a 180B, 200B or Bluebird would probably be your best options. They have generous engine bays and weigh more which will offset the power you currently have.

There was a great 180B fitted with an FJ on here awhile ago. It might be worth a search as it may give you a few ideas. It was light brown/mustard colour with a creme vinyl roof.

Good luck with it.

I would love to see one of these "many" 1200 utes with street legal FJ20 turbos.

if any of them are legal the Fantasy Performance one would be...
The blue one in canberra was offered for sale with engineering for a price, that would suggest it is engineerable.

I believe the pink one is FJ20 too, maybe rotor?

And there's road legal sr20det utes too, so the capacity shouldnt be an issue.
