Hi all i wanna put a new engine in ma datto 1200 ute but cant be turbo . dont no wot 2 put in n dont wanna do any big mods .......... but was thinking of gettin a15 n gettin it work over hard wot do use think ... n money aint a prob

ca18de. Very good non turbo engines. will rev for ever, 1800cc,dohc,efi etc etc. Definately a good choice for a non turbo engine.
also being de will be easier to fit than det versions

Ive got a det and the gearbox goes in fine just a bit of panel beating and its sweet.

well should be no prob for me den been a 1st yr panel beater n ma dad been one for 25 yrs n uncle owning a work shop how much for the conversion

Depends what work you do yourself and what computer , turbo and so on.
But for average its around $10gs for standard everything.

well im pretty sure the det versions are $10,000 plus to do it properly so the non wouldnt be to far behind the 10,000 plus mark

i can do it all ma self all i would have 2 do is get it engineered but cant be turbo ..i got told to put a 16 or 20 vavle

if i was going turbo i would go CA18... but if you want to keep it aspirated, i hate to say it, but SR is the better choice
