hey guys looking to get a CA18 in my car soon also looking at changing the current exhaust to a 2". Would the CA run well on the same 2" or should i wait leave the exhuast and get a 3" when i change the motor. cheers

it really depends on your pocket

you dont have to have a three inch system even if turbo

ive seen a couple of big power turbo cars make do with a 2 1/4 system really only a loss of power in the very top end

Yer i dont really want to be changing exhaust twice but u cant run a 3" of a 1.2ltr. See what the guys at profix say

if you get them to flange the system at the muffler and use a straight through center muffler you can then have just the engine pipe changed when you go to the better engine

this would be enough

thats basically what is was thinkin, but i wasnt sure weather a 2" would perform. i dont plan on doing alot to the motor origonally just wanna get it in and running. i suppose a 2" is still bigger than a factory CA18 setup.

Yer, definatley if i gonna change the motor mite as well put a turbo. i know most turbo cars run 3" thats why i asked.

On a standard Ca18det a seperated dump pipe to 2 1/2 inch then to the two inch rear you would hardley notice the difference on the road
