nah one axel needs to be a few inches shorter than the other, centre is offset like all other diffs (well almost all)

im using a ute diff behind my car, no dramas as of yet but ive only driven the car 4 times with the L series
will give damage reports in the coming weeks

does this mean that there is a short and long axle in the stock vp diff? Or just the r31
Still no news on my car will have to ring up tommorrow, want it for the cruise badly!
Pigdog is yours locked or open wheeler?

yepp like PIGDOG said the diff centre is offset, so you need a long and short axle

Didnt no datsport were into that sort of thing, thought they sr20s into 1600s

Got the datto back today, it managed 100rwkw on 8psi with the injectors maxing out at 4500rpm so i need to sort out bigger injectors before the boost goes up! Currently they are 7mgte supra ones which i thought would be plenty big enough. Since it maxed out they didnt bother doing full tune so its a bit rough and not much timing in it yet.
Also my brand new vl turbo pump is close to max which ithought is strange? I heard they were good for 150rwkw ish, anyone no?
Also have to fix a leaking injector oring, replace tps as its broken( big flat spot down low).
Clutch is worry but im hoping replacing the master cyl will fix as pressure biulds behind it and dosnt release clutch fully, but luckily i bought a spare and spare slave cyl!
Also need to re-root map sensor line as apperently has a kink
But on a bright note exhaust is nice and not too loud and the tempgauge wont push past 80degrees celcius!
It goes quiet well for low boost, get usable boost from 2000rpm (5psi) and builds from 1500rpm! pulls hard from 3000rpm but unfortunatelly cant rev over 4000rpm for safety of engine. Im glad i wil be able to make the adelaide cruise!
Also my front end bottems out over potholes etc. Not sure why i have stanza stuts, new munroe gts and king springs cut to drop top of tyre about 10mm from the gaurd! it never used to do it before? maybe i need to raise it up or something?
So once its all sorted ill need another 4-5 hrs full dyno tune and cold start remap etc!
Any ideas welcome from you guys, ill try to post more picts tonite
And is $60 each for 2nd hand 13b injectors a fair price 550cc?
