With the stanza front strut conversion, well you know how it increses track which kinda looks funny as the back wheels are tucked in. What mod can I do to bring the back wheels out, i hear doin the carolla ke 25 or 30 diff is a way that pretty much corrects it. Is this the best way to go? Is it hard to do this conversion. Any help apreciated Cheers Damo

its got to do with the offset of your wheels too though, you could do a h190 diff conversion (vanette and others) but you still need the right offset wheel to make it fit nice

yeah the corolla diff will increase the track about 3". a very similar amount to what the Stanza struts increased the front track.
there's 3 ratios available in the corolla borgwarner diff that I know of: 3.89, 4.1, and 4.3.
it is a bolt in fit, you'll need a 120Y borgwarner type tailshaft and input flange, which will bolt onto the corolla diff. the handbrake is an issue that I didn't look into I just removed all the handbrake cables. You might want to get some of the corolla's handbrake setup or something to adapt it. Only other little catch is that the studs are a different thread (same pcd) so you'll need the toyota wheelnuts.
what engine do you run?
is it a coupe or sedan?

Are you saying the KE25 and 30 are the same?, How strong are they? do you have to move the spring perches on the diff housing?
Info greatly appreciated!!!

I'm running an A15, with a celica gearbox. Coupe. What about the H190 Vanette diff, doesn't that have about the same track increase but would it be stronger then the corolla diff? what ratio's are availible with the vanette diffs???? Cheers Damo

I haven't actually seen a KE25 diff in the wreckers while I was looking, so I'm not sure if it is the same as the KE30. Get your measuring stick out!
These BorgWarner diffs have been pretty good behind my L18. I have broken 1 axle and 1 centre, but that is over a period of 5 years, and only when using lockers.
You don't have to move spring perches or anything - it will bolt in. They are maybe 5mm wider apart in the centre holes, but that is not a problem.
H190 vanette diff is quite a bit wider I believe (I don't have measurements on the vanette diff), and certainly has a good reputation for strength.

Thanks very much!
Those diffs should be easy to find here in NZ, one other question, do you know whether AE86 internals are interchangeable with KE30?
