just wondering what sort of power people have been able to put through a standard gearbox without abusing it... i am about to get my car tuned but cant afford the $1000 for gearbox upgrade. i am looking at 140-150 at the tyres. think it will make it off the dyno??

not very tough. you'll have to treat it very well to get away with putting 150hp through it. search it if you wont more info but generally you'll find it wont be upto the task. down shifting back to second tends to kill them superfast.
