my experience is based on having several cars that had other problems that lead to the head gasket problem.

maybe it would work temporarily.

but you might want to keep an eye on it for other symptoms. How milky was the oil? maybe re-torque the head bolts?

is it blowing exhaust into the radiator?

lol i've blown a few head gaskets, being stupid. so i know a bit about it now.
