There are several things you can do to your 1200 ute to make it become a better truck.

Lowering the suspension will render it and the car as a whole a better cornering vehicle. For that matter , shorter springs and shorter struts in the front will do it. For the rear, shorter shocks and decambering of the leaf springs is the common way. I prefer decambering to blocks, it is a better and more secure operation. Taking the rear springs off the car is relatively easy, and those can be done in a day.
To add to the performance of your car, sway bars are a must. I read that 120Y sway bars work on 1200's ( that is the front, 120Ys / B210a came with front sway bars, not rear ones).
You can always get aftermarket sway bars for the front and for the rear.
The front is a mandatory modification for good cornering . Check the suspension article, I think it is racing suspension for the 1200 in this 1200 club. The rear sway bar attaches to the rear axle and to the spring leaves.
First in order would be shorter springs and shocks/struts.
Second, sway bars.
Later on, a strut tower brace to add rigidity to your chasis.

* Remove front bumper
* add air dam
* Paint dual stripes on bonnet

That should improve the front end quite a bit. The front end needs no suspension work, it's quite good to start with.

Or, see Suspension And Brake Swaps. There's a ton of information in there.
