like i said mate check with your licensing centre. a non turbo would be the way to go. they are cheap, dime a dozen, series 1,2,3 rx 7.... the series 2 is the best motor, has bigger ports. an extend port with a weber will put out 125 at the tyres. the diff will handle this. best way to go is buy a complete unlicensed rx7 ($500-1000). that way you have everything to get it running. if your interested a very streetable bridgeport will put out 180-200 at tyres with efi

well ive been all over this site and some people say its legal and others say its not legal and unable to engineer. im actually on the rotary side of things and looking for the lightest possible body, rather than owning a 1200 and looking for best engine. Just to remind you a 12A rotary is 2.4L in the eyes of rta and 13B is 2.6L.

so ring the rta and find out. they are the people that matter. it doesn't matter if everyone on here said you could do it. if they say you can't... well, you can't. don't waiste your time. go straight to the top. how hard is a phone call?
