Hi Guys,

Question 1: Offsets?

Are spacer's Illegal in NSW? can I find new 15" mags to fit 1200 w/ stanza front struts and r31 rear end.

Can anyone tell me how to attach a modified r31 rear end to 1200 sedan rear end? there's no mounting points for gas shocks at rear, so will i need to weld on?

i've seen 275mm calipers and vl commodore rotors on 1200's w. stanza front, but does it need mods to mount?

spacers are pretty much illegal every where unless offered from factory
you will be able to fit 15s with stanza or r31 front end(or any bigger nissan strut), and 15s will fit in a standard rear and will still fit with an r31 diff

as for rear shocks, look under the car and see where they mount, then make similar mounts for the skyline diff

for my skyline diff i used a bit of C section with a half circle cut in it to go round the diff, then just leave the back of the mount long enough to make a shock mounting point
or you could just get mounts put onto your modifided skyline diff when it is off getting modded

for commodore calipers, VL turbo, VL or VN v8 or VR/VS calipers(they are what you use for 275mm discs) you will need to use 180b struts and the calipers will bolt straight on then you just need to find a disc that will fit without to much modification (verada discs will do the job)

dont go for stanza struts for the love of god, there are so many better struts out there

i think that pretty much answers your questions

what about the spacers that bolt to the studs, then use a different set to bolt the wheel to (are these legal?), as opposed to the ones that you just whack on behind your wheel ie.autobarn multifit spacers

dont know about the bolt on ones, pretty sure they are stll illegal

as for needing slotted rotors, dont know why you would need them but im pretty sure you can buy slotted ones for stanzas from DBA

i wouldnt recomend buying new stanza rotors though as its a waste of money
atleast get some 200b or 240k 255mm ones then get 200b calipers to match or twin piston sumitomo calipers off a corrona
then you wont hate yourself after you've forked out the money and find out there is a bolt on upgrade for better brakes

So would you recommend swapping the a10's out for 180b struts?

my stanza brakes where exactly the same as 200b, girlock calipers with 253mm rotor, DBA 315, yes you can get them in slotted, twin piston calipers will not fit these struts. the shock mounts off the spring platform,
