hey just got a head unit and 6'9", and bought them with those box's u get premade. and i cant get them behind the seats. so if any one has got 6"9 in box's tell us please? and is it hard to take out the seats. i supose my only other option is making a mdf door pannel. thanks guys

hay there heres a few pics of what others have done with 6x9s looks ok and you would get much better sound from them in the doors than behind the seats in boxes.....

pretty easy to take the seats out if you are still going to go that way. have you got the standard seats still or aftermarket?

when i bought my ute it had the 6x9's exactly as per the pic evilbetty posted.
line the inside door skin with dynamat and youll be right.

yea going to put the 6"9 behind for now, and the seats are out now. the box just's which is funny, and seem s the tweeter for the speaker is just touching the bottom of seat which looks fine.

I put boxed 6x9s behind the seats in my 1200 ute, the went in with some bashing but then the seats were too far foreward

hey appsy, thanks for the input, thats a very different design and it should turn out sick if it all goes to plan, do those shallow mount pioneer subbs fit in the door pannel. i might even give it a crack cause it's the only logical way to put a decent sub in other than a bazooka sub. and wat size mdf will you use! cheers mate
