I think the SDC is organising a nationals in adelaide next year accodring to Datnet. And then the following year is Queensland.

as i have said before i am very sad that i didnt get to go because my sedan wasnt finished in time. but if it is finished by the time that the "mini datnats" are on i will definetlay be makin the trip from syd to brissy.

benny had the blue 1200 with the group of 1200s.
dattodude (chris) had the green 1200.
Ianey had the stocko white 1000.
flyby had the blue race 1200.
?? had the silver/gold race 1200.
i'm guessing beatz you owned the red 1200?

for sydney siders this was a great effort ...
there were no 1200s from adelaide ??
and there was one 1200 member who made the trip from perth - Team_Dat.

as for the melbourne 1200 crew it was pretty much the 4 same old same old cars .... 4NIK8's ute, ANGE's ute, Rallycar's something (ute this time ) and my sedan.
there was one new turnup which was claire in the flat orange coupe.
Unfamilia made the trip for friday in his sedan but was unable to stay for the whole event, although he did get to meet a couple the sydney guys.
wazza made the concourse in his 1200 sedan.
trb012 was there in his newly painted 2 door 120y and mopar had his red 1000 coupe and racer 1000 coupe at the concourse ...
then there was lagwagon and mark in there 'bigger' 1200's and daveman who pushed to the end but unfortunately didn't get his ca sedan there.
richard (mad120y) was there to, in his oldman's Z, but did drop into the 1200 section to say Hi
there were a few melbourne members i met during the weekend without cars - mildman, cadet1200, tuffdat, datsok, and from sydney Ben510.
and also the rolled sedan of go baby go(karyn)

i've organised a couple of the cruise's down here on this site and there's always heaps of interest till the day it actually happens ?? for an event the size of the datnats the turnout from the melbourne members with their cars was a little ordinary in my veiw, but it was good to see a few made the effort to come and see it

I wish i was able to make it,
between work and family commitments it was always going to be a long shot.

The event still looked good despite the lack of 1200's
and i would have loved to see that hot 2dr 120y

i'm really pissed that i missed this 1, mainly bcoz i would have been the 2nd best 120y there

i think there was more 1200's, 1000's @ the last Vic cruise
maybe we should have another1 in the near future, closer to the city so its easier for every1 to get 2

i was more reffering to melbourne people and was a bit hasty with saying only 2 from sydney (was thinking of concourse day)

just saying we have had upto 15 cars at melbourne meets

and yeah no show from SA... which isnt that far away

gino.... organise the melbourne meet if you like, closer to the city brings problems of traffic lights and traffic, so it's harder to organise and to stick together

I was there too, unfortunatly not in my 1600 or 1200 (a12 has shocking blowby now) but i was in my old mans 240z probably the only z parked with the 1600s and stuff at the track day!:
