I will try and keep carting it around on a trailer to the minimum but it wont be my daily driver. She will be in the shed and pulled out for rally weekends or practice/club sessions.

I cant wait to have a go in it. I washed it this arvo and it was a trip down memory lane. I felt like I still had my old Datto! Well I still have it but its pretty stacked!

i think driving my car everyday actually will make it more reliable when i race it as any i become aware of bugs and sort them out prior to race day, as opposed to people who pack the car away until the next event where they discover the day before scrutineering they have damaged something.

about a week after the last rally there has been quite a few problems arise where things have shaken loose in the rally, i think i even need a wheel alignment now it stopped going straight over the last couple of days

in an attempt to hi-jack yet another thread, has anyone had problems with tyres scrubbing against the body on the back, to the inside of the wheel?

ive had problems with this for ages and now barpk is talking about moving em closer, surely theres no room to do this is there?

i have h165 ute diff, have replaced shockers and put in urethane bushes but still it scrubs when i really hook it into a corner even with only 13" wheels on

I believe it a pretty strong little unit, otherwise why would you put it in a rally car? It apparently runs wheel spacers on the back but the track is clearly smaller than normal. I think it is out of a Daihatsu van or something. The diff is locked and runs about a 5.1:1 ratio!

holy crap is a years reg in auz realy $460? its about $210- $250 in nz. man thats steep!

Seriously though you need less offset. You can use thin wheel spacers to move the wheel towards the outside of the car (if it is legal in your state to use wheel spacers). Or use a wheel with less offset.
