I have some Sunny struts, i am wondering whether they are as good as the stanzas. Also can i still use the stanza castor rods(what was the
alternative?) and steering arm?
Can i put a 200b disk onto these struts?
i dont know what year the Sunny was, but i may be able to find out, if it matters....
thanks again, Linc.

I think datsun sunny struts have the smaller bearing diameter like the 1200. Therefore you can't use 200B discs on them... can anyone else clarify this?

It would help if you took off the discs of the sunny struts and had a look, it's easy! The bolt holes on the stanza caster rods are further apart than the 1200, so just compare
with the sunny or 1200 lower control arm.

Yes, I think you are right. I have heard that people have used stanza strut/lower arm assemblies to create big brake solutions, but I've not seen any completed. I use lower
arms, castor rods and balljoints from a stanza, I use 180B struts with 1200 springs/cups, Mitsubishi discs and commodore calipers.
I originally used modified 200B struts/brakes on the stanza lower arms.

Wow, that is one mean brake upgrade. It must have a very sensitive response. Do you still have height adjustment on them? Do you use a booster? I want a booster but with the
CA18DET there's no room! I am also having a few problems mounting the clutch pedal to the new hydraulic setup. The thing sits too high if mounted in the original position
for cable.
Any suggestions?
justin.

You could always try a remote booster and mount it under the dash or even in the boot. PBR make a good one look for a VH 40 or VH 44 model I have one in my (shock horror) MGB and
it works great.

Best Booster to Use comes from a Mitsubishi Lancer KA KB I think. About 1975-1977.
It's the same unit as the 180B Booster, but it has the 2 mounting holes (as opposed to Datsuns 4 holes) to the firewall, as
required by the 1200.
