I'd agree with chroming everything. Will look Plus everything would match then.

do it ange... chrome it up.. will look a lot classier... polished outer but still i reckon you need a darker color on the centers.

did some more fiddling. put a tube in the rim so i could inflate and put the car on the ground. 7inch rear with 205 tyre is just too wide. 1mm clearance from leaf spring. Dunno if i should drop 1/2inch on the inner or run 195 on the 7 inch rim. Im not real keen on the 205 tyre anyway, i wanna run 195/45 on the front to prevent any scrub, and 205/50 will just look way too bulky on the back. But then i dont want a 195 on the 7 inch rim if it looks at all stretched. i want a little tyre bulge.

Also played with colours a bit. thoughts?

I like the grey Ange. I also think they would look good in the R32 GTR grey colour. How heavy are these wheels compared to your Skyline alloys?

hey matty yeah the grey looked good when i put the wheel together but im not sure on the look on the car. thats why i was thinking a lighter grey rather than the silver.
Or full polished is another option but i cant really trial that without spending the cash.

i'll weigh both wheels and get back to you on that becuase im also curious now since you asked. the simmons feel a fair amount lighter when lifting them though..

yeah i dont like the silver either..

i liked the dark grey when assembling the wheels but i dont like the look of it on my ute. considering polished centres also now.

and no i havent considered fr17's
personally dont like 17's on 1200's at all.

matty i wieghed the wheels (bathroom scales that go up in 0.5kg incriments) and the 15x7 simmons wheels weighed the same as the 15x6 skyline wheel (7.5kg)

so id imagine a 15x6 simmon would be about 1/2 kilo lighter.

the need for chrome EVERYTHING has hit the top of the list. and i also wanna take some track out of the front end. the added stanza track is more noticeble now with the skinnier fronts.

did someone say shorter, lower, better spring rate with less track and maybe bigger brakes strut change?
