That engine crossmember design is very interesting. I've been thinking more and more about making my own to sit the motor lower.

Has he sat the motor on that new crossmember yet? The only reason I ask is because I'd expect it will be a fair bit harder to get the engine onto the mounts now that they are fixed in those bosses. Usually when dropping a motor it helps to have the engine mounts sitting loosely in their slots so you can get them in easily.

I think the plan is to slot the holes in the engine brackets, and leave the bolts loose where the brackets go on the engine. It's been test fitted 3 times already, so the next time it goes in it should be permanent.

And yeah, he did this to get the engine really low. His will be about 2" lower and 2" farther back than most SR swaps.

Rebuilt S13 SR20DET, 9 lb chromoly flywheel, Stage 3 Clutchmasters clutch, HKS 268 cams, custom Greddy style intake manifold with velocity stacks for each port, Q45 throttle body, Blitz FMIC, not sure on turbo specs but it's BIG, Autronic stand-alone, should be running 17psi on a street tune and 25psi on a race fuel map. Looking to make 300hp at the wheels on lower boost, 400hp on higher boost.

That's what i can think of right now anyway...
