Good to see you back in a dato mate!

I had the ratio changed in my steering box when I had it rebuilt, if I remember correct it went from 2.75 turns lock to lock to 1.5 turns.

I haven't driven it with the new box yet, but I look forward to it.

No i haven't still got my coupe, pranged it, stripped and sold a fair bit of it, have another project underway. i have another coupe fully stipped and starting from the ground up, so i don't inherit other peoples problem. Going to be fully CAMS approved and have a fire breathing 200+ rwkw CA18det, i'm hoping to have that ready well before the datsun nationals in Qld, i heard its at morgan park as oposed to QR, thats a good idea, less stressfull on the cars

I also have a 1000 now with a blow-through turbo, u probably seen the pics, i'm really pleased with that! pity i wasn't still living up there in sunny QLD, i would've brought it out to the hill climb, ah well............. you get that!

good to hear from you!

I'm still trying to work out what my next event will be. Not sure on Pittsworth. Looking at a couple of hillclimbs at Grafton and Kempsey.

MGCCQ have a Come and Try Morning & Test and Tune Afternoon at Mt Cotton on Sunday, 30th September. You can get more info from mgccq@mgccq.org.au. They're always popular, so it might pay to register interest early.

I'll be there for the test in the afternoon trying to get a handle on the car before he Australian Hillclimb Championships in Nov. [EDIT: might not be there actually. I just realised there is a hillclimb event the week before this test] The AHC is my best chance to run a really good time in this car - the 2 day events get alot of rubber down on the track
