hmmm

could be a problem....

maybe you could slot in some coupe shocker mounting plates to move the bottom points (of your shockers) in towards the centre of the car

even if you get past the shock problem you will most likely find that the caliper will then hit the inner wheel arch, bit of steel between the shock and the wheel

you may be able to cut it out to clear the caliper depending on where the caliper sits

the caliper, see the bit i cut out on my car for the calipers to have plenty of room
there were a few dents there from when i had the r31 calipers

i havent had this problem or head of it using bluebird disc over drums

have used a banjo bolt on the brake line to avoid that hitting the chassis rail though

I've had my shocks mounted up to coupe lower plates, It didnt line up very well. If I cut the sheet metal that surrounds the shock it would work fine except the shocks are closer together at the bottom instead of the top.

I will still have to do this as im going to use a ute diff I bought recently.

sedan coupe or ute?

dont know what the bluebird calipers are like compared to r31, but im pretty sure that the bluebird discs are offset more making the caliper further in, closer to the car, so i would assume that if they are mounted in the same spot as my calipers that they would be very very close in a sedan
keeping in mind my diff is slightly wider than standard so that would also give my calipers a bit more room, and they still managed to hit

isnt the metal on the other side of the shock a chassis rail?

on which side?
there is just sheet metal in the side you can see in my pic, which i have cut some out of
then im pretty sure there is a chassis rail fairly sloce to the other side

yeah freak has a h165 in his sedan.....where are you going with this?
i had a 165 in mine but had sedan mounts on it
