i reckon, how do you expect aid when you go off like that, tyrie has had a hell of a lot more useful inpuit than you mate who just expects everyone to get up and sort out your wiring prob. seriously, get a manual they have a comprehensive wiring diagram in the back. its a bit hard for us to make head or tail of the rats nest wiring you have without actually sitting there in front of it.
take it to an auto elec if you cant figure it out.

Well, yes, it would be best Demo if you had bought a $10 manual off eBay. I have purchased many for less than $10 USD shipped, including one for $3.

But anyways we're family...here's the answer:

* what colour the small wire to starter motor is
Answer: Black with yellow stripe. It is in the harness that goes along the right side of the engine.

* what colour the main negative wire is
Answer: Black with yellow stripe. It is the biggest wire on the car. It goes from the battery post to the right-most bolt of the timing cover.

* also what colour washer bottle wires are.
Answer: Kangaroo bag wires are BL and LR and located on far left front corner of engine compartment.

Did the 1973 wiring diagram in the club Album help? Don't be put off by USA vs AU model, they are almost identical. That makes me wonder ...which manuals -- other than the Nissan manual -- have wiring diagrams? My Gregory's does not. Intereurope (published in Britain) has the typical Export diagram, labled USA & Canada...

The one above is good if you are converting to an internal regulated alt!
