whats everyones thought on efi computers?

ive decided to go efi and im not really sure what i should do, should i spend the big dollars and get a microtech or should i go the cheaper option......?? please pass on your info. whats evryone else done that efied the a series. i also had a look at megasquirt but couldnt really work out what i needed and how much it ws going to cost? and whats the difference between the microtech lt8 and 12 and so on

i only require a system that will control fuel, dont really need it to be sequential

I thought microtech was the cheap option?

They have an LT4 which is fuel only, right up your alley mate. The LT8 and 12 are no use for your application (they are fuel and ignition).

What are you wanting out of the ecu
is it for road use or race use ?
do you want to log data?
or is just a simple system to run a car?

dont really care about the info once its setup. its only for road use and the ocassional race at the drags. i think your right thou i was looking at the lt4 and thats seems the go

Why wouldn't you want ignition control as well? It should just be a case of doing an electronic dizzy and then having proper control of it.

Hey guys.

Im goin the efi way as well. Do I need to change my fuel lines and run a return line??

Im gunna get some throttle bodies from efihardware.com or tweakit.net

Gunna cost about $1300 thou....not cheap
