sssute well, if u did it by hand then i am very very impressed as i know the amount of work that goes into it im sure getting to a finish like urs is possible but i am choosing to go with a slitghtly less than mirror finish for something different. wish i could come down to check this ute out at summernats ....

Dumbo, i may produce the bars, but they are a sports bar not a roll bar, as they are not to cams spec. With mine i even added side intrusion bars, which run down to the front wheel tub.

Thanks Scott.
I don't intend on using the ute in any CAM's events, purly as a street car. I feel that a 'sports' bar is better than nothing.

Thats what i think as well, i will be jiging up for them next year, they are made from approved roll cage steel, that im going to powder coat. There will be an option for the side intrustion bars.

Still haven't got the shell back from the panel shop yet, they are three weeks behind from when i was suppost to get it back. And it is a little way off yet.
I'm am still going to try to make the nats, who needs sleep anyway.

OK, 16 days to go before making the road trip and still no car to work on.
But i went to the panel shop yesterday, and she was in the booth getting a nice coat of primer, is it is getting closer. (no pics, forgot cam)

If i can get her back next week (early) i'll still give it a big crack.
