Don't know but I can tell you what ZX parts are needed: You will need the radius rods, lower control arms and complete strut. You will also likely need to get camber plates and a coil over kit as I seem to recall even though the springs fit the perches don't. Also you will have to shim the tie rod ends to eliminate bump steer. If you still wish to use 13 rim, the brake calipers will need to be milled and wheels spacers will be required. In addition the cross member will need to be modded to fit the ZX control arms.

Depending on what your goal is it might be easier to look up the C-sedan prep manual (on this site) I noticed on the Bprojects website they had front damper cartridges, so I'd go with a coil over kit for the 1200 strut and a Wilwood caliper bolted to a carrier like the one pictured in the C-sedan manual.

I'm sure some of the other guys can offer a more in depth view as I bought the whole ZX set up ready to bolt in. Check the tech section as well.

Tom

The easiest is the '79-82 210 (B310). All of the suspension (except the engine crossmember) swaps straight over.

If you want to do the 280ZX struts, you'll need the 210 lower arms, radius rods, steering links, and steering knuckles anyway.

The US model B210 [B210] used a heavier front suspension than the same basic car that was sold in other markets as the 120Y [still the B210 chassis] but with the A12 engine instead of the a13 & A14 engines that the US model B210 got.

See your other post/thread for more info.

Why are you so keen to rip out the original suspension anyway?
The brakes can be upgraded without too much problem & retaining the original strut saves the need to find & buy stuff as well as minimising the dramas normally linked to camber angles & undesirable track width increases.

Stay with this forum, ... use the search button, & you will find that a great deal has been learned about these little cars already & that drastic mods may not necessarily be the best solution to our various problems, particularly if you want a street driver.

An excerpt out of my work log....

I'm swapping over my 1200 struts for some 120y ones. The 120Y having discs instead of drums being the reason why :) There pretty much a straight swap over, you need to keep your 1200 springs and strut tops to put on the 120y struts though as the 120y springs and tops sit a bit higher.

All in all a very easy upgrade.

The first post is from a Californian who is dealing with the US model B210 & 210 donor cars.

You are an Australian dealing with an Australian [Jap] spec model 120Y donor.
While the two 1974 to 1977 cars share the same chassis code of B210, they do not share the same front suspension or brakes.

The US model B210 [they used the chassis code as a model name] uses a PB210 [Excellent] derived front suspension that will not simply swap over in the same way as our 120Y ones will, although there will still be a measure of interchangeability, it won't be quite as easy as our B210 [120Y] into B110 swap.
I know that the lower suspension arm arrangement is different but don't know if the B110 steering/ackerman arm will bolt to the PB210 strut or if the US B210 steering arm uses the same ball joint or rod end taper size as the B110.
