Due to its power, is SR20DET in a 1200 or B310 will be a overkill.

Overkill in terms of its power destroying the chassis ( twist / bend / break )...?

And this engine is known for its weight ( almost double the weight of an A series ). How can this mess up your daily driving in terms of cornering and braking.

Weight distribution of the car will be affected alot. Will a 2 X heavier front cause massive understeer.

Advance thanks for d feedbacks

Are you just guessing, or have you tried it and it destroyed the chassis?

we took precaution on the chassis and reinforced that. but the car is still underconstruction so we were able to put the car on a side and work peacfully

310, .By far the better option , wider chassis rails ,huge engine bay , large wheel arches and housings ,big tunnel coil rear end the list can go on ,overall a bigger, and i would suggest stronger chassis . But then only my theories, good luck hope this helps....

i agree with u buddy and the front suspentions are simmilar and better to the 510 as i read a couple of months ago.
what u need to do is a thicher stabilizer bar to increase handling in turns

It'd be good in a B310.

With 300+hp in a 1200, the doors stop closing after a little while and the paint starts cracking around the doors and the joints that are leadwiped.

It does unbalance the car..lets not try to lie to ourselves.

But it does make for a fun car!

My 1200 with a ca18debt has a 23mm front bar, and it only oversteers at the moment. I hope to correct that with some small adjustments, and might have to include a rear swaybar.

ps.. the ca18debt bit is intentional

The datsun 120Y (1974-1977) front sway bar is a good upgrade for the 1200 aparently.

Here is a pic of my Sunny B310 with an SR20DET and it fits very nicely.
