I'm trying to track down a caliper rebuild kit for the S13 Caliper conversion. I thought I should re-build the calipers before putting them in but even Nissan is having trouble tracking them down.
I wouldn't have thought it would be too hard??? Correct me if I'm wrong but but S13 180SX non turbo's only came out in 1990 - not too old or too young to be caring these type of spares I would have thought.
If anyone has any info, that would be great!

the trouble may be because its an import. so you may not be able to get genuine replacement parts

d'oh I hadn't thought of that being a problem with those S13 calipers.

should be a 3rd party kit available, most are as good as oem.

Yeh, even been around to Bursons, Repco, Autopro etc.
The metal guide / slide plates that hold the pad wear ( and is worn in my case )and the rubber boot for the slide bolt is split ( my fault )
Even thinking about getting another set and using the best bits???
Just would be good to use new parts, as everything else on the ute will be new or reco.

I've dove the silvia upgrade but didn't need to rebuild the calipers so can't give you a definate answer.
Although, i have had a set of brake calipers from an old alfa rebuilt by "Australian Brake Specialist" in clayton. They done a great job and i'm sure they would be able to get the kits for you at the very least.
