manifold spoken for.

Has anyone had experience tuning these carbs for A series before?

They have needles and seats to suit warm L16, how far will they need to be changed to suit warm A15?
And will a holley red fuel pump and reg do the job or do I need to go bigger?

I would think the holley and reg would be suitable, Im sure they would be similar to running webers. I would search for the fuel pump flow and pressure for the bike those carbs came from and set up pump from there.

I have a set of keihin carbs that I used on my racecar for a few years and they went pretty good. I drilled out the main jets a fair bit and packed a few washers under the heads of the needles to lift them up a bit and they ran pretty good.
Though if yours are already tuned to suit a L16 they're probably pretty close to what you need already.
I used a facet pump for fuel delivery which gave me 6 psi of fuel pressure with no dramas. I think the outlet of the stock fuel tank was too small and caused fuel starvation which led to a melted piston a couple of weeks ago.

what size were the fuel lines in yours DAT141? The P312 they're going into has 5/16 fuel lines, and I think the holley red is good for about 5psi, so I'll suck it and see so to speak.

Yeah, it was running on an L16 in a Stanza,
The guy I bought it off picked up a L18 SSS motor after he blew the L16 up and never got around to fitting these.
Right place, right time.
