why arnt you puting the a14 in the ute? i would transplant all the good stuff fromthe 120y.

ok little story time for yas.

The motor swap I am doing is forced because I have abused the A14 past the point of doing little fixes on it. It's got massive blow-by, massive oil leaks at the rear of the head where the gasket might be weak, oil pooling in the bellhousing and possibly a bent pushrod or two, that would have been from one of these burnouts everyone's always trying to get me to do.

It's not good atm but it's forcing me to put together the 15 quicker or rebuild the 14, or go L series and avoid pushrods altoghether!

Actually it's just me finally getting hit with the dramas of having a daily driver\ motorsport car

Bugger, my newly rebuilt a12 is still purring sweetly, though i'm getting tired of using my project as a daily..... can't take it off the road for anything major... like fitting new side panels......

you need to buy another ute as a daily.....i now own 5 cars, it really solves that problem.

aiden: you shoud drop a ca18det in that ute man and put the a14/a15 in the 120y as a daliy

I have it on good authority that if I do that I'll crap my pants on a regular basis

Anyway a little update. I've got the blue ute home cos I'm going to use the motor out of that for a while and start parting it out. Any of you guys want something (not the diff or the dash, haven't decided on that) give me a pm during the week and I'll call ya so we can get cracking.
